Mandarmani is a large and fast developing seaside. Mandarmani is one of West Bengal’s recently developed tourist destinations that lies close to the ever-popular Digha. With sun and surf, unspoiled sea beach and unimpeded silt colored sand, this beach has become very popular among the tourists. Mandarmani is particularly well-known for its 13 km long motorable beach, possibly the longest motorable beach road in India. Although weekends find Mandarmani overflowing with Bengali tourists, during weekdays you are free to find the desired tranquillity and peace on the beach.

Day 1:
Main attraction of Tarapith is the temple of goddess Tara. Upon reaching here, proceed for the temple and offer puja. Other places of interest at Tarapith are – Cremation grounds and the Bamdev Sangha Asram.
Day 1:
Reach Tarapith and check in to a hotel. Rest of the day is free for you to explore this small place.
Day 2:

Transportation
There are three different transport options to reach Mandarmani –
a) Hire a car reach Mandarmani in 4 to 4.5 Hrs. The road condition is generally good and you can enjoy every moment of this long drive.
b) Many AC and Non AC buses are departing for Digha from Esplanade all through the day. You have to get down at a place called Chaulkhola from where your hotel can arrange a car for Mandarmani.
c) Take the Howrah-Digha AC express and reach Kanthi in the afternoon. You will get cars outside the station to drop you to Mandarmani. Alternately, you can book a car through your hotel.
