Day 1:
Reach Gangtok and transfer to the hotel. After getting freshed, if you have some time, go out to the mall and have a walk to get a feel of the place.

Transportation
Best way to cover this trip is to take point to point drop. This will be convenient as well as the cost effective way. You will get many cars just outside of New Jalpaiguri station or Bagdogra airport to drop you to Darjeeling.
