Apart from this, Eravikulam national park is another attraction, where tourists can see the endangered species of Nilgiri Tahr. You will also see a few magnificent lakes and waterfalls around Munnar.
Most of the people speaks Malayalam and Tamil. Tea Plantation is the biggest industry here. The place is surrounded by approximately 30 tea estates. As a result, a major percentage of the local population is employed in the Tea Industry.

Munnar
Firstly, if you are going for a day trip only, you will not have enough time to complete sight seeing of all the tourist spots.
