Nubra Valley
Day 1:
Start early from Leh. You have to go via the 18380 Ft Khardungla pass to reach Diskit. Visit the Diskit monastery and then reach Hunder (17 km from Diskit) for night stay. At Hunder you can see the dry dessert with white sand dunes and two humped Bactrian camel. Go for a camel safari in the dunes.
Next morning, visit Sumur monastery and Panamik to see the hot spring before boing back to Leh.

Transportation
A good car with a good driver is one of the most important factors for a smooth Ladakh trip. The journey will cover a distance between 1000 to 2000 km depending on the places you select to visit. In addition, the terrein is barren and rocky and the road passes through an average altitude of 13000+ ft reaching upto 17000+ ft from sea level. The weather is also extreme with you feeling quite hot under sunlight while the night temperature frequently reaching a sub zero level. All these factors demand that you need a good powerful SUV along with a very good driver who knows the area and the road conditions.
